Where To Stay

My fav area of Shanghai, people call it 梧桐区

The "Wutong District" (梧桐区) refers to the historic areas in Shanghai characterized by tree-lined streets with French Plane trees (known as Wutong trees in Chinese). These areas, primarily found in the Former French Concession, feature beautiful colonial architecture, historic villas, and streets shaded by tall plane trees forming natural canopies. The area is known for its blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles, quiet atmosphere, and cultural significance. It's particularly charming in autumn when the leaves change color.

This district is especially popular among expats and locals alike for its cafes, boutiques, and preserved historical buildings. You can find many of these tree-lined streets around Huaihai Road, Fuxing Road, and Sinan Road areas.

Oh If you'd like to borrow a cute Shiba as a companion for city walk, you can drop by 衡山路58弄 to pick it up from my friend.
